This article explains how to use Novus to plan, track, and measure your product releases. Launches help you coordinate feature access, user segments, in-app guides, and performance metrics in one place.
Creating Launches
You can create a launch from scratch or import details directly from your issue tracker, like Jira or Linear.
Create a launch from scratch
- Go to Launch from the left navigation menu.
- Select New Launch, then choose New Launch from the dropdown menu.
- Enter a Name for your launch.
- Enter a Description and select a Target Date (optional).
- Select Create Launch.
Create a launch from a ticket
- Go to Launch and select New Launch, then choose From Ticket.
- Choose your Issue Tracker and Project from the dropdown menus.
- Enter keywords in the Search Issues field and select Search.
- Choose the relevant ticket from the results. If the ticket has a parent initiative, you can choose to use the parent instead.
- Review the imported Launch Name and Description.
- Select Create Launch.
Rollout Configuration
Control who sees your new feature by targeting specific user segments and setting up percentage-based rollouts.
Initialize a feature flag
- Open your launch and navigate to the Rollout plan section.
